The Political Economy of a Free Society with University of Colorado - Colorado Springs

Public Event
Saturday, October 21, 2017 10:00 AM
1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80918

One of the most important concepts in developing sound public policy is to consider the long-term effects on everyone and not just the short-term effects on a few. Yet, we see this concept being ignored so many times in Washington, especially when it comes to government spending.

If you're interested in learning more about the importance of effective economic policies and strong character in a free society, join FEE and the Center for the Study of Government and the Individual for our upcoming 1-day program. Taking place on Saturday, October 21st at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, the entire event is free to attend and includes lunch and reading materials.

What's on the agenda?

Designed for undergraduates and high schoolers, you'll have a great time listening to dynamic presentations and doing hands-on activities. You'll also gain a better understanding of the seven principles of sound public policy along with how protectionism and "bottleneckers" limit competition and stifle innovation.
