What inspired you to start writing?
The only way to learn how stupid you really are is to put your thoughts down on paper. It's only be rereading and critiquing your own "precious ideas" from time to time that you start to learn something and to progress.
What are your hobbies / interests?
Studying the global economy. When I realized how distorted things were ... and how clueless academic economists are ....I lost the ability to sleep well at night.
Who are your personal heroes?
Ayn Rand, Ludwig von Mises, Terry Fox (A simple man, mostly unknown outside Canada, who ran across the country to raise awareness about cancer. He died during his run. But his effort is a heroic individual example of Human Action .... about how much one man can accomplish)..
How did you discover the freedom philosophy?
By sitting in public schools for 12 years looking at the walls. I knew that A. This was prison. B. There had to be a better way than this.
Who are your favorite writers?
Will and Ariel Durant
What is the most important economic question of our time?
The Misesian calculation problem. When the value of the currency becomes distorted, inconstant and manipulable, it distorts all other calculations in the economy. Worse, since we live in a world, in which almost all values are now boiled down to economic values, the inability to calculate.... means that the entire Age of Reason may be over.
