Law & Liberty with Faulkner University
Law is generally defined as the restraint on human action and liberty as the absence of restraint. So how can you have both in a free society? If you're interested in exploring individual freedom and the proper role of law, join FEE and The Blackstone & Burke Center for Law & Liberty at Faulkner University. This free event is being held on Thursday, September 21st and includes lunch and reading materials.
What's on the agenda?
Designed for undergraduates and high schoolers, attendees will engage with dynamic educators, make life-long connections with like-minded peers, and leave with a better understanding of:
- Individual freedom from both a legal and economic perspective
- The meaning of societal concepts like justice, rule of law, and property rights
- How concepts like justice and property contribute to economic growth
- The proper role of law in a civil society
