Overview

Not only do entrepreneurs create wealth from their ventures, but they also create jobs and the conditions for a prosperous society. During this 3-day seminar at Oglethorpe University (for ages 14-17), you'll explore the economic way of thinking, world issues, and the entrepreneurial mindset as you discover how entrepreneurs impact the world.

What will you do? You will have the opportunity to...

  • Discuss life's most challenging economic issues with dynamic professors and learn how to confidently express ideas during open discussion sessions

Travel Information

Atlanta, Georgia

You should plan to arrive at Oglethorpe University (4484 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319) no later than 3:30 pm on Tuesday, July 18th, and all participants are required to depart by 12:00 pm on Friday, July 21st.

If you are flying, plan to fly into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Oglethorpe University is approximately 22 miles north of the Atlanta airport, and FEE will provide a shuttle from the airport to campus (and back). We will email you details about the shuttle as the seminar gets closer.

Because of the travel time to and from the campus, please choose a flight that arrives before 1:30 pm on Tuesday, July 18th and a flight that departs after 9:30 am on Friday, July 21st.

You will be staying in traditional dorm rooms with a roommate of your same gender and will share a community bathroom with other students on your hall, also of your same gender.  Linens are NOT provided, so you will need to bring your own bedding (sheets sized Twin XL or a sleeping bag), a pillow, and a towel. Be sure to bring any toiletries (shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, etc.) you might need as well.
